Business mentoring and coaching is offered in a block of four one and a half hour sessions, the frequency to be agreed, but usually if they are approximately one month apart this provides the right interval for achieving agreed actions and outcomes. These sessions can be either face-to-face or on the telephone.
There are three stages to the process:
- Stage 1 - There is an initial complimentary conversation before the contract begins in which both of us evaluate whether we would be able to work together and, if so, we do some basic scene setting, set boundaries and agree a working contract.
- Stage 2 - During the contract, you would be expected to carry out agreed actions and report back progress at the beginning of the next coaching conversation. During each month, there would be opportunity to check back and discuss progress via e-mail or on the telephone.
- Stage 3 - At the end of the three-month cycle, an in-depth review takes place and you assess your progress and formulate an on-going action plan. Usually, most people meet their key objectives during this period, but if you feel that more time is required, a further three-month contract can be initiated.
